Middle Level Managers
Communication between American and Japanese management peers would be the easiest for middle level managers. They share the same basic personality type. However there are differences in the strength of the T/F and J/P indicators of personality. Japanese middle level managers are stronger feelers and stronger perceivers than their American counterparts. They would therefore be more interested than their American counterparts in personal relationships and the impacts on people; and be more comfortable increasing options and adapting. As they are both ESTJ's their preferred method of communication is (in order of priority):
1. Logic, research
2. Lists, implementation plans, facts
3. Connections between facts
4. Human benefits

Communication between American and Japanese management peers would be the easiest for middle level managers.
