Innovation
Commons Network Newsletter
Greetings!
Sorry
for the long absence. I tried to get too much
done in too little time. None of you ever did
anything like that, did you?
I was hoping to make this effort short and
intense and have completed most of the work by
the end of last year. It is obvious now that my
schedule and yours does not allow that type of
prolonged focus and involvement. So, I've changed
plans.
The pace of the project will be slower, but no
less complete. It actually might give us time to
add additional information and people into the
conversation.
It's been gratifying to see how interested you
are in the topic. I believe it is one of the key
problems to resolve if we're going to be able to
move into the "hyper productive" phase
of the third industrial revolution.
Note: Make sure that you read David Snyder's
article on Extra-preneurship in the upcoming
edition of The
Innovation Road Map Magazine.
(However, you can download the
article now.) It's relevant to our discussion.
It's also good to see that you have continued to
add material to the blog. However, many of you
have never signed-up as members of the blog. And,
while you can read the blog if you're not a
member, you can't contribute unless you are. If
you still would like to contribute to the blog
but forgot where the confirming e-mail is, send
me an e-mail and I'll see if I can get you
enlisted.
In the meantime, keep up the good work. While
I've been absent from this task, I've been
thinking about the project and I have a number of
new blog entries that I'll be adding over the
next several weeks.
The blog is found at http://innovationcommons.blogspot.com.
As I stated in the first newsletter, we will be
using four tools - the blog, surveys, telephone
conferences and a web site. The blog is for the
discussion of concepts, the surveys will be used
to rank and sort concepts, the phone conferences
will be used for discussion and clarification,
and the web site will be used to house the
results of our work. The web site is at
www.theinnovationroadmap.com/icn/index.html.
Access requires an ID and password. Use Network
as your User Name and Innovation as your
Password. If you didn't get the original
newsletter describing the process, it is resident
on the web site (http://www.theinnovationroadmap.com/icn/index.html).

There
are very few ground rules for participation. We
trust that if you take away something from this
experience that you will give back at least as
much as you take. No solicitation or promotion is
